Gantok is the capital of
Sikkim with an excellent view of Kanchanjunga range, overflowing
with ancient temples, monasteries, narrow colorful bazaar. The
pleasure of trekking through the interiors of Sikkim and Darjeeling
, the rare privilege of experiencing the Majestic Himalaya in
its noblest and truest from as seen from the different region
each with their own peculiar characteristics.
ITINERARY:
DAY 01: Fly
from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur and drive to Darjeeling. O/N in
Darjeeling.
DAY 02: Dive to Gantok. O/N in Gantok.
DAY 03: Sightseeing in Gangtok, drive to Rumtek & sightseeing
to the Tibetology & Handicraft center, Enchey monastery.
DAY 04: Gangtok, drive to Phodong monastery.
DAY 05: Drive to Yuksam.
DAY 06: Yuksom to Bakhim
DAY 07: Trekking to Dzongri. (3,840 m)
DAY 08: Trekking to Thangsing - 4 hrs.
DAY 09: Trekking to Samiti Lake.
DAY 10: Trekking to Samiti Lake, visit Gochala.Pass (4,960
m)
DAY 11: Trek toTshoka.
DAY 12: Trek to Yuksom.
DAY 13: Drive to Pemayangtse Monastery, sightseeing.
DAY 14: Drive to Bhadrapur, fly back to Kathmandu and transfer
to your hotel.
