Karnali
zone is Far West of Nepal and this is name of one of the nice
river of Nepal. which starts from the Kanziroba and glacier
of other small peaks as well as Rara lake Rapid encountered
on this river is 1 to 5 class.
Being the longest river in all of Nepal, the Karnali
drains a huge & well-developed catchments Spring snowmelts
can drive the river up dramatically in a matter of hours, as
the river rises the difficulty increases exponentially. The
river flows through steep & constricted kayos where the
rapids are close together, giving little opportunity to correct
for potential mistakes The trip starts with along but interesting
bus ride
(optional flight) over to the far West of Nepal. an area
only recently opened to tourism
From the frontier town of Surkhet there is a lovely two day
trek through lowland Sal forest to the village of Saul. From
Sauli it's 180 km to the nest road access at Chisopani, on the
northern border of the Royal Bardia National Park. The river
section takes about seven days, giving plenty of time to explore
some of the side canyons and waterfalls, which comes in to the
river valley
ITINERARY
DAY 01: The 19 hours bus ride from Kathmandu
led us to "Best of West" river, which departure at 1430hrs.
DAY 02: We reach at Surkhet in the morning,
we served breakfast while other make ready bus to travel for
another 4hrs. This bus drop us at karaleghat and we look-after
for porters to carry our equipment down at the river. Camp is
fixed at river beach.
DAY 03: After having heavy breakfast at 8:00 a.m. we
get ready for wild ride. This section of the river is terribly
wild. Continues rapid makes rafter forget to breathe. Lunch
will be served en-route and camping at 03:00 p.m. in First Inquiry.
DAY 04: Breakfast at 8:30a.m., lunch at 1300hrs. & Dinner
at 1900hrs. Camping at God-house.
DAY 05: As done before. Camping at Seti Dhovan.
DAY 06: As above and camping at Jamuna village.
DAY 07: All as above and camping at Solta village.
DAY 08: This is the final day of river. We end this
trip in the early afternoon at Chisopani Bridge & lunch
is served there. At about 1530hrs. we catch night bus to get
back to Kathmandu or you can enjoy in Bardia National Park,
which is famous for bird watching.
DAY 09: This is your final day of rafting. We arrived
here in Kathmandu at 07:00 am

tent, all necessary fee, round trip transportation by bus
