Kathmandu and Pokhara are three major groups of peaks:
Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Manaslu and
Himal Chuli and the large Annapurna Himal. |
|

This
is the easiest trek in Nepal and has few uphill climbs
of any significance. Trekking westwards there are
many alternatives. |
|
| |
Jumla
& Rara lie in the remote Karnali region, north-west

as popular as Annapurna and
Everest. |

story cites the reason for closure as the large-scale
